Fiction Editor at Ramblr Magazine

Editor-in-Chief Aleesha Lange launched Ramblr to create a space where writers could share their work and feel confident in their craft. The magazine thrives on the rich, close-knit writing community of the Bay Area, whose talent and collaboration form the backbone of every issue. With this dedicated team, Ramblr aims to produce engaging, high-quality content that celebrates creativity and storytelling.

As Fiction Editor, I managed submissions, selected works for publication, and collaborated closely with writers to refine and elevate their stories. Beyond editing, I contributed feature articles that highlighted cultural events and literary trends. Additionally, I created custom multimedia content for Ramblr’s social media channels to craft a visually engaging online presence that reflected the magazine’s creative identity and helped drum up readership for upcoming issues. This multifaceted position allowed me to apply editorial judgment, creative design, and audience engagement strategies to support both the literary and promotional goals of the publication.

Social Media Experience

For Ramblr Magazine’s social media, I created custom post designs that combined multiple media forms—paper collage, original photography, hand-drawn elements, and digital graphics. This approach gave the feed a distinctive, textured aesthetic that reflected the magazine’s creative identity and engaged its online audience.
